Nitto ATP Finals Singles SF

The group stage of the ATP Finals is over, and we’re now down to the last four and the do-or-die semi-finals of the tournament.

Betting odds changed drastically following Rafael Nadal’s injury withdrawal earlier this week. However, despite the absence of the World No.1, the online gambling faithful can still expect a thrilling live betting clash in London with Roger Federer leading the way and a couple of debutants raring to prove themselves in the season-ending affair.

Roger Federer vs David Goffin

With Nadal gone, the path to the finals looks clear for King Rog. He is currently on a 13-match winning streak after getting out of the group stage unscathed and luckily for him, the next test that awaits is David Goffin who has never beaten him in their six meetings.

Of course, Goffin still has a chance with Federer showing signs of mortality during his three-setter against Alexander Zverev. However, the Belgian star needs to find a way to dictate play if he wants to have a shot at pulling an upset.

Goffin has been pretty inconsistent in this competition, so I don’t think he has enough to trouble the World No.2. Go for Federer Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.40.

Grigor Dimitrov vs Jack Sock

Despite the lack of star power, this matchup should be an intense and exciting one considering that both players are making their ATP Finals debut. Not to mention that they have fought out some close matches over the years, with all of their four meetings going the distance.

Dimitrov will fancy his chances after going undefeated in the Group Pete Sampras. And after thrashing the likes of Goffin and Pablo Carreno Busta, he will surely look to continue that dominant run.

Nonetheless, Jack Sock just can’t be counted, especially with his 3-1 record against the 26-year-old Bulgarian. He has been in sensational form since winning in Paris, so the confidence is undoubtedly there.

This game should be close, but I like the composure and level of play Sock have shown in beating the likes of Zverev and Marin Cilic. If you’re punting, Sock on Game Handicap +2.50 @ 1.96 seems the best choice.
