Can the Two Legends Impress Tennis Live Betting Again?

US Open Men’s Singles QF

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are projected to meet in the semifinal, but sports betting fans shouldn’t jump in excitement just yet as both Andrey Rublev and

Juan Martin del Potro will be keen to spoil the drama and stop the possible online betting classic from happening.

It hasn’t been a perfect week for the two tennis icons, and they will certainly need to bring their A-game if they are to make it to the last four.

Rafael Nadal vs Andrey Rublev

Rublev has put his name on the map with his run up to this stage, and although there isn’t much expectation for him to perform, the 19-year-old will undoubtedly give it his all to stay alive in the tournament.

Nadal, as usual, will be the favourite. He’s the World No.1 and has looked sharp as ever against Alexandr Dolgopolov in the Round of 16, where he dropped only 12 service points and made just 11 unforced errors.

The Spanish star, however, has been inconsistent in the hard court recently—losing to Denis Shapovalov and Nick Kyrgios in Canada and Cincinnati; not to mention that he needed to come back from a set down in his last two matches prior to the fourth round of the US Open.

Rublev can go hot anytime given the fact that he has hit 36 or more winners in his past three matches, and if he can hold his nerves, I think he can pull off the biggest upset of his brief career and win on Asian Handicap odds of +1.50 @ 3.77.

Roger Federer vs Juan Martin del Potro

After the Swiss Maestro endured two five setters to start the competition, one would wonder if he is in the optimum condition to challenge for the title.

Federer, though, seems to be peaking at the right moment, which could prove crucial in his match with Delpo.

The Argentine star can give Federer a run for his money, considering that he defeated the Fed Express in the 2009 US Open before his injury woes. Nonetheless, it’s not looking good for him after struggling against Dominic Thiem the last time out.

With little time to rest, I don’t think Del Potro has much left on his legs to put up a fight. Go for Federer Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.45.

Pablo Carreño Busta vs Diego Schwartzman

A maiden grand slam semifinal is at stake for both men, a situation which should make for a compelling meeting in New York.

Carreño Busta has the advantage with his power, not to mention that he appears fairly fresh compared to Schwartzman who had to beat Marin Cilic and Lucas Pouille to reach this point.

However, Schwartzman has his agility and great movement in his arsenal, weapons which could very well allow him to be the better returner and to frustrate the World No. 19.

I predict this one to be competitive which could end in four or five sets, but I like the chances of Carreño Busta to win on Game Handicap -4.00 @ 1.70 given his rest advantage.

Sam Querrey vs Kevin Anderson

Querrey might be in the lead against Anderson when it comes to their head-to-head record (8-6), but his fight with the South African could prove trickier than what many think.

The 29-year-old American had a relatively easy draw, which makes his match with Anderson his first real test. After all, both have only dropped one set so far and will enter the game full of confidence.

Querrey and Anderson are known for their big serves, so the key to this battle might come down to who will have the better second serve return.

I like Anderson advancing, though, with his experience and overall playing style. He is the more complete player and his recent win over Querrey in Canada should give him a little boost here. With that said, Anderson on Asian Handicap +1.50 @ 1.59 is a tempting choice.
