Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Betting websites may not be that busy when it comes to Formula 1, but the final race of the year is still worth your free bets! Don’t believe me? Let me tell you why you should care about this race.
First of all, Lewis Hamilton himself admitted just how difficult of an opponent Ferrari have been this year. Despite being pegged as the favourite for a good amount of this year’s races (bookies have him at 1.70 outright betting odds in Abu Dhabi), he felt that the Stallion gave him countless scares throughout the year.
“We were more consistent but Ferrari had a very, very good season,” Hamilton said. This high praise for his opponents wasn’t viewed as correct by some bookies, however. Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari’s leading driver, only have 5.00 outright to his name, similar to Valtteri Bottas.
While they did miss out on taking the hegemony from Mercedes, Vettel teased on the future of the team: “The team is ready and fired up, We have some good projects in the pipeline.”
Max Verstappen (11.00) shone brilliantly this season and will look to end the 2017 racing calendar with a win in Abu Dhabi. Kimi Raikkonen (12.20) and Daniel Ricciardo (13.00) won’t probably allow the rest of the chasing pack to make some last-minute runs to steal some points.
This season has been a wonderful celebration of speed for the drivers and the fans. While tracks and drivers make their goodbyes to the season, the energetic hums of the Formula 1 engines will always bring an unexplainable delight to many.
Come and witness Mercedes and Hamilton celebrate under the fireworks of Abu Dhabi!
