Juventus vs Cremonese
Juventus have made inroads in the Top 4 of the Serie A standings since appointing Luciano Spalletti as their manager last October. Before this, their 2025-26 campaign was in trouble due to their poor run of results under Igor Tudor, and now Spalletti has transformed them into viable contenders once again.
The Bianconeri are undefeated in their last five league games. After dropping points against Lecce (1-1) last Saturday, Juventus bounced back right away with a 3-0 rout of Sassuolo on Tuesday. As a result, they rose to fourth in the Italian top-flight standings with 36 points, level with fifth-seeded AS Roma.
They will host Cremonese on Monday night at the Allianz Stadium, and this should be a winnable game because of their visitors’ lacklustre form. Davide Nicola’s men recently dropped to 13th, as they are winless in their last five league games (D2, L3).

Talking Points
David kicks on for Juventus
Juventus returned to winning ways on Tuesday, as Jonathan David scored a goal and provided an assist in their 3-0 rout of Sassuolo. The Canadian striker had his breakthrough during the 62nd minute, teeing up Fabio Miretti with a clever pass before scoring a wonderful solo goal a minute later when the Neroverdi failed to clear the ball.
The reaction from the Juventus squad was wholesome, considering what happened to David previously. The former Lille star had been criticised for missing a penalty kick, which he wasn’t supposed to take in the first place, in their 1-1 home draw against Lecce. Before the Sassuolo game, David had been on a 135-day goal drought.

With Dusan Vlahovic still recovering from a left adductor injury that needed surgery, David will continue to lead up front for the Bianconeri, with Lois Openda as his top backup. Fabio Miretti and Kenan Yildiz should be behind the Canadian on Monday.
Moreover, Luciano Spalletti’s side received a lineup boost at the rearguard, as Lloyd Kelly is expected to return on Monday after sitting out the Sassuolo game due to a thigh knock. The Englishman will likely replace makeshift centre-back Teun Koopmeiners in the starting XI.
Vardy hits scoring milestone with Cremonese
Cremonese missed a prime opportunity to halt their winless run, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari yesterday. Dennis Johnsen and Jamie Vardy put the Grigiorossi ahead by two goals in the first half, but Michel Ndary Adopo and Yael Fritz Junior Trepy had other plans.
The only positive in the draw is that Vardy hit a new scoring milestone. With his close-range finish before the half-hour mark, Vardy has now registered 150 goals in Europe’s top five leagues – a remarkable achievement for the 38-year-old star.
Head coach Davide Nicola will likely deploy the same front three against Juventus on Monday, as Vardy will join joint-top scorer Federico Bonazzoli, with five goals, and Johnsen in the final third.
History
Juventus won 2-1 against Cremonese during the reverse fixture at the Stadio Giovanni Zini last November, as Filip Kostic and Andrea Cambiaso gave the Bianconeri a two-goal lead before Jamie Vardy scored a late consolation goal. Juventus have never lost to Cremonese across all competitions ever since their first meeting in December 1989 (W12, D3).
The Bianconeri will attempt to notch another league double over the Grigiorossi after last doing so in 2022-23 via an aggregate tally of 3-0. They have yet to concede at home in the opening 15 minutes of either half in the league this season, and they’re the only side yet to lose a second half at home (W4, D5).
Cremonese have been poor in the final third in road games, scoring more than twice in just three of their 10 away matches this season.
Betting Tip
The Serie A 2026 odds have Juventus completing a league double over Cremonese this upcoming Monday. The Bianconeri are 1.23 favourites to claim maximum points, while the Grigiorossi are huge 9.40 underdogs, and a draw is at 5.30 in the 1X2 market. Juventus should have enough goals and Serie A 2026 highlights in them to dispatch a struggling Cremonese squad at home, and to expect otherwise would be a surprise. Besides our recommended bet, bettors may also consider adding Over 2.50 at 1.71, Over 2.75 at 1.89, and Total Goal 2-3 at 2.04 to the parlay. On the other hand, the Correct Score of 2-1 in favour of Juventus – the result of their most recent league encounter – offers a healthy payday of 9.40 your bet.
