Premier League Betting Just Gets Better Every Week

countdown banner

We’re three week’s in and it’s already crystal clear that this is going to be a momentous season in the Premier League.

Manchester United are back in the hunt for glory while the other main contenders will make it anything but easy for the Red Devils. And for sports betting fans, this Saturday is absolutely rammed with big matches to set the pulses racing. Manchester City hosts Liverpool and in a day which boasts seven mouth-watering football games, all of the potential league winners are in action.

WEEK 4 SATURDAY:

Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Beating Leicester must be a distant memory for angry Gunners fans who are calling for regime change, yet again, after defeat to Stoke and a thumping by Liverpool. I daren’t think how they’ll react if Arsene Wenger can’t inspire a win against the Cherries, yet to register a point. It’s time for Alexis Sanchez to stop sulking.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Bromwich Albion

The Seagulls are already finding life difficult in the Premier League but did manage to win their first point against ten-man Watford. It’s games like these which will determine whether Chris Hughton’s team have a chance of survival. Jonny Evans is a class act at the heart of the Baggies defence and Brighton has its work cut out.

Leicester City vs Chelsea

I bet Antonio Conte is still seething at the loss of Matic to his rivals, but his mood may have been improved by the form of his big signing Alvaro Morata, who already looks a class act in the Premier League. It’s been a tough start for the Foxes with defeats to Manchester United and Arsenal and this is likely to be a third.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

These two Champions League hopefuls have had modest starts with four points apiece, Spurs conceding a late goal against Burnley to continue their home struggles. Everton have recruited well with Wayne Rooney and Glyfi Sigurdsson settling in well. But now that August is over maybe Harry Kane will start scoring again!

Southampton vs Watford FC

Despite playing Brighton with ten men for most of the game, Watford remain unbeaten after three as do the Saints. Marco Silva’s Hornets look much livelier than last year with Nathaniel Chalobah looking a real handful and they’ll give the talented Saints a game.

WEEK 4 SUNDAY:

Stoke City vs Manchester United

League leaders United have a stern test of their credentials in the Potteries, but go with confidence inspired by the impressive starts of summer recruits Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic. The big Serb could yet be the signing of the year, particularly if he can survive the windy hostility of Stoke!

Burnley vs Crystal Palace

Frank de Boer has, so far, failed to turn a bunch of Sam Allardyce’s big and fast pragmatists into the total footballers he yearns for. But going to Turf Moor isn’t the ideal place to continue experimenting. The Eagles’ new defensive signing Mamadou Sakho is unlikely to be fit so the Clarets will be licking their lips.

Swansea City vs Newcastle United

Losing Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente, the two players who kept the Swans up last season, is a worry for sure, but Paul Clement’s side has picked up four early points. The Magpies looked in for a tough season too, but beating West Ham 3-0 will have eased their early concerns.

WEEK 4 TUESDAY:

West Ham United vs Huddersfield Town

Who’d have thought we’d come into this game with the Terriers on seven points and Slaven Bilic’s Hammers rock bottom on nil? Not me! David Wagner knows his team’s best chance of survival is to rack up as many points as possible before Christmas. Slaven may not make it that far if his team can’t win games like these.
