FC Augsburg 1-4 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are once again the German champions after beating Augsburg in a thrilling game that sent betting websites into a frenzy.

Arjen Robben scored their third goal of the game with a laser from 14 yards, thanks to a cut-back from Rodriguez just moments after the hour.
Sandro Wagner rounded off the scoring for Bayern on 87 minutes with a clinical header off a Sebastian Rudy corner.
The title win capped a great turnaround for Bayern, who were five points adrift after a poor start earlier in the season. Carlo Ancelotti was eventually sacked and Jupp Heynckes came out of retirement to rejuvenate the club’s season.
On the other games, Hamburg kept their survival hopes alive with a 3-2 upset of second-placed Schalke. Relegation-battlers Mainz 05 and FC Koln, in contrast, didn’t help their chances after they shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw.
Elsewhere, Monchengladbach took down Hertha BSC, 2-1, to stay in pursuit of European football, while Hannover 96 and Wolfsburg got all three points in their respective matches to pull further away from the relegation dogfight.
