And it was game over just before the break when Edinson Cavani was fouled in the box, and the Uruguayan climbed to his feet to fire the penalty into the top corner.
PSG passed the ball around nicely in the second half but didn’t break sweat again while Celtic struggled to get out of their own half. Mikael Lustig put through his own net to make it four and then Edinson Cavani bagged his second to make it 5-0.
This was a class performance from a side littered with talent, clearly with plenty more to offer and the Scots will be pleased to get this one over with.
