Big Teams are Just Perfect for Asian Handicap Betting!

Real Madrid and Barcelona got off to winning starts in La Liga last week and the battle continues with the joint title favourites aiming to sweep their next opponents aside.

Winning 3-0 and 2-0 is a decent start, of course, and with such strong teams at the top end of the league, handicap betting is always the best option. Barca beat Real Betis 2-0 but Lionel Messi hit the post three times, not the most relaxing watch for live betting fans!

WEEK 2 SATURDAY:

Real Sociedad vs Villarreal

Saturday’s opener pitches together two strong sides which had contrasting fortunes last week. The Yellow Submarine were sunk by a last-gasp winner from new boys Levante, while Willian Jose scored a last-minute penalty to grab Sociedad a 3-2 win over Celta Vigo. A draw at 3.45 looks a likely outcome

Real Betis vs Celta Vigo

Celta were ahead twice in that defeat and will hope to get off the mark against a Real Betis side which had the woodwork to thank for coming away from the Camp Nou with just a two-goal loss.

WEEK 2 SUNDAY:

Alaves vs Barcelona

Barcelona are at odds of 1.87 to win with a -1.50 handicap against Alaves. Sergi Roberto was the star of Barcelona’s win against Betis with a goal and a superb all-round performance, while Alaves got off to a poor start losing to Leganes.

Las Palmas vs Atletico Madrid

If Diego Simeone’s Atletico are to mount a series challenge to the big two, it can’t afford many repeats of last week’s draw with newly-promoted Girona. Las Palmas will be glad to get back to their Gran Canaria home after losing in Valencia.

Girona vs Malaga

Former Middlesbrough man Cristhian Stuani was the hero for Girona, netting both goals in their shock result in Madrid, and they will fancy their chances again against a Malaga side which struggled last season and opened this one with defeat to Eibar.

Levante vs Deportivo La Coruna

Levante got off to a cracking start when Jose Luis Morales converted his 88th-minute winner against Villarreal and have a chance to make it two wins from two against a Deportivo side well beaten by Los Blancos last week.

WEEK 2 MONDAY:

Real Madrid vs Valencia

No Cristiano Ronaldo but a 3-0 win for Los Blancos with Gareth Bale on target was the perfect start. Valencia opened with a win against Las Palmas and are at 2.17 to win again… but with a +2.00 goal start.

Getafe vs Sevilla

European hopefuls Sevilla drew 1-1 with Espanyol on the opening day while Getafe got off the mark with a goalless draw with Athletic Club. And it was a 1-1 draw when these two last met at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez in 2016.

Espanyol vs Leganes

That was a decent point for Espanyol, but they can’t take anything for granted when they return to Barcelona to take on Madrid minnows Leganes, who believe survival is on the cards again after an opening day win against Alaves.

Eibar vs Athletic Club

A Charles header gave Eibar a winning start against Malaga, but Athletic Club will hope to improve on their opening day draw with Getafe. The Bilbao side have won four of the last five meetings between these two.
