countdown banner

If you woke up early to catch today’s great NBA games, you probably know that you were treated to an exciting dose of NBA action!

There were a variety results that satisfied online betting fans of all ages. There were close games probably upset some betting odds. There were also blowouts that just went out of proportion.

There is a bit of something for everyone after today’s games!

Cleveland Cavaliers 118-105 Charlotte Hornets

Kemba Walker may be tired of missing out on the playoffs, but his team cannot hope to make the postseason if they can’t keep up with teams like the Cavaliers. LeBron James was simply unstoppable with his 41-point outing at the Spectrum Center.

Brooklyn Nets 111-104 Orlando Magic

The Magic are so terrible that even the lowly Nets are finding ways to outplay them. D’Angelo Russell led the way with a double-double performance while the rest of the roster provided ample support. Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic and Mario Hezonja had to lead the struggling Magic for 48 minutes.

New York Knicks  101-118 Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid had to leave early due to an accidental headbutt, but the Sixers easily manhandled the struggling Knicks. Dario Saric took over Embiid’s scoring load while Ben Simmons quietly had a double-double night. Marco Belinelli and Richaun Holmes also played great off the bench.

Portland Trail Blazers 103-108 Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies pulled off a much-needed win against the Lillard-less Blazers. CJ McCollum tried his best to force his team back in the conversation, but the Grizzlies showed some great team basketball that eventually got them the W. MarShon Brooks was impressive off the bench, scoring 21 points on 58% shooting.

Atlanta Hawks 114-126 Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves erased whatever embarrassment they incurred in their loss against the Grizzlies with a dominating win over the Hawks. Karl Anthony Towns single-handedly brought the Wolves the W: he scored 56 points and grabbed 15 boards in 41 minutes of play.

Boston Celtics 97-94 Utah Jazz

The Jazz almost got away with a win against the Celtics after Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio played some fantastic basketball. However, Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum willed a strong comeback that helped the C’s leave the Vivint Smart Home Arena in smiles.

LA Clippers 111-99 Phoenix Suns

Tyler Ulis’s 23-point outing was the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing performance by the entire Phoenix squad. Tobias Harris got off to a hot shooting streak, ending the night with 27 points. DeAndre Jordan, Austin Rivers and Tyrone Wallace made up for Lou Williams’ poor shooting night.

Dallas Mavericks 93-103 Los Angeles Lakers

If you’re questioning whether Mark Cuban is looking beyond this season, this game provides all the answers.

There wasn’t any reliable shooting from the Mavericks tonight, and Harrison Barnes just hasn’t played out well as a consistent scoring option for the Mavericks. All the Dallas supporters can hope for is that they land a certain European star named Luka Doncic.
