Sports Betting Fans are Giddy for the NBA’s Big Return!

The NBA All-Star Weekend was a fantastic affair that thrived under the Hollywood sign, but it’s back to business for the world’s best basketball league.

Betting websites are already buzzing as there are interesting games to be played. Betting odds will surely favour the Cavaliers and the Warriors, but this season has proven that any one team can pop off and beat their opponents black and blue.

Brooklyn Nets @ Charlotte Hornets (February 23, 08:00 GMT +8)

The Nets’ struggling season continues as they wallow near the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Hornets are quite far off the eighth seed thanks to their losing streak. However, the Hornets still have a better roster than the Nets. I see a nice win for the hosts, so betting on Charlotte -7.50 @ 1.96 is good.

New York Knicks @ Orlando Magic (February 23, 08:00 GMT +8)

The Knicks haven’t won anything since losing their soul, Kristaps Porzingis, to injury. While Tim Hardaway and Enes Kanter have been doing work for NYC, their efforts don’t help the team win. While the Magic have been equally terrible, they have shown considerable resilience in their last five games.

Orlando should easily win over the Knicks, making a bet for Magic -4.50 @ 2.00 a viable option.

Washington Wizards @ Cleveland Cavaliers (February 23, 09:00 GMT +8)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are riding a huge wave right before the All-Star break, and an energized LeBron James will do everything in his power to keep the team on this high. They face an interesting challenge against the John Wall-less Wizards, but the Cavs should do just fine. There should be no problem for you betting on Cleveland -5.50 @ 2.02.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Chicago Bulls (February 23, 09:00 GMT +8)

The Sixers are likely headed to their first playoffs in a long time if Joel Embiid keeps himself healthy and Ben Simmons keeps on outmuscling his opponents. They face an interesting test in Chicago as Zach LaVine, Bobby Portis and Lauri Markkanen toil for the Bulls. I still think the Sixers are the team to beat, so punters should have no problem putting their money on Philadelphia with a -5.50 handicap for 1.95.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Sacramento Kings (February 23, 11:00 GMT +8)

The Kings should have no business winning against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but OKC’s sickness this season has been in letting smaller teams take them to town for a beatdown. I’m sure that Russell Westbrook and friends would overpower these Kings, but a little caution wouldn’t hurt.

With that being said, it’s not a bad idea to pick OKC -7.00 @ 1.90.

LA Clippers @ Golden State Warriors (February 23, 11:00 GMT +8)

The final game of the day is between the Warriors and the Clippers. The visitors are barely out of the playoff picture, but a win would keep them in tight contention with the lower seeds. Lou Williams, Tobias Harris and DeAndre Jordan would have to work extra if they want to beat Stephen Curry’s Dubs.

I see a tight contest happening here, so the best bet to make is Clippers +10.50 @ 1.97.
