NBA: Warriors and Jazz Plan to Sustain Their Unbeaten Runs

The Warriors, Jazz, and the Bulls are the only undefeated teams left in the NBA and they are all keen on maintaining their fine form with yet another win.

With the Bulls scheduled for a rest day tomorrow, the Warriors and the Jazz will take the spotlight as they’ll square off against their Western Conference counterparts in the Thunder and the Nuggets respectively.

Elsewhere, the Sixers, Lakers, and the Rockets have business to settle on the road, and the Knicks, Spurs, and the Mavericks are ready to defend their home court.

A five-game slate awaits us and SBOTOP looks into tomorrow’s action from the Association.

Philadelphia Sixers @ New York Knicks

The Sixers are coping well amidst the Ben Simmons saga with and they’ll face a tricky test against the Knicks at the Madison Square Garden.

Philadelphia started the season with a victory over New Orleans and a defeat against Brooklyn. However, they followed that one up with a win over Oklahoma City yesterday.

In his first three games, Joel Embiid has done his part by averaging 21.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assist per contest.

Surprisingly, the Sixers’ second leading scorer has been Seth Curry, who averages 20.3 points per game while shooting at an ultra-efficient 64.7-per cent from three-point area.

Meanwhile, the Knicks saw their two-game win streak ended by the Magic and they are hoping to get back on the winning track.

Leading the way is Julius Randle with 28.7 points per game while newcomer Evan Fournier is right behind him with an average of 19.3.

Golden State Warriors @ Oklahoma City Thunder

It’s no coincidence that the Warriors are enjoying the top spot in the Western Conference given their sizzling start and they have a winnable game against the Thunder.

Steph Curry has emerged as an early MVP favourite since he’s in his deadly form and he continues to spoil fans with a lot of NBA 2021 highlights.

With Klay Thompson still recuperating from his injuries, the Warriors have been leaning on to Jordan Poole to back up Steph Curry and he is their second leading scorer with 17.0 points per game.

The Thunder are the only winless team in the Western Conference and they are hoping to stop their drought. OKC’s NBA 2021 odds of getting a high lottery pick is increasing by the day after suffering blowout losses against the Jazz, Rockets, and the Sixers.

Their top guy has been Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 20.0 points per game but he’ll face the daunting task of outplaying his Warriors counterparts.

Betting Tip – Golden State Warriors Asian Handicap -9.00 @ 1.94

Los Angeles Lakers @ San Antonio Spurs

Carmelo Anthony is ready to go all out in the Lakers’ NBA campaign this season

The Lakers are gunning for their second straight win when they’ll take on the Spurs at the AT&T Center.

After dropping their first two matches to kick off the new season, they finally got one against the Grizzlies in what was a thrilling game.

Los Angeles survived Ja Morant’s 40-point outburst as their key players stepped up big. LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 41 points, but Carmelo Anthony led the team in scoring while making history in the process.

Carmelo Anthony moved up to ninth in the NBA all-time scorers list to pass the late Moses Malone en route to 28 points.

Tomorrow will be the Spurs’ second straight home game before they visit the Mavericks on Friday. San Antonio want to bounce back following their loss to Milwaukee last Sunday.

Houston Rockets @ Dallas Mavericks

Speaking of the Mavericks, they’re slated in a fun clash against a fellow Texas-based team in the Rockets tomorrow.

Dallas are coming home following their away win over the Raptors while the Rockets were defeated by the Celtics yesterday.

Second overall pick Jalen Green became the first teenager in Rockets history to record 30+ points and he has tied Yao Ming for the most points by a rookie after the first three games.

The Fil-Am guard will face a tough test when he meets Luka Doncic for the first time. Doncic narrowly missed out on a triple-double in the last time out and he’ll be a handful to deal with.

Betting Tip – Dallas Mavericks Asian Handicap -11.00 @ 1.94

Denver Nuggets @ Utah Jazz

The Nuggets and the Jazz will figure in a showdown of two Western Conference powerhouses.

Utah are 2-0 as they’ve beaten up the likes of Sacramento and Oklahoma City, so tomorrow will be their biggest challenge yet.

Denver were defeated by Cleveland 99-87 at home and they are keen on getting back on the winning track.

Nikola Jokic picked up where he left off in his MVP campaign as he continues to lead the Nuggets sans Jamal Murray.

The Jazz, meanwhile, will continue to rely on their formidable duo in Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
