NBA Preview: Rockets Gunning For Ninth Straight, Clippers to Parade Deadly Duo

More NBA action is headed our way as we’re being treated to an 11-game slate tomorrow.

The Rockets are looking to extend their winning streak to nine games, but they will face a Nuggets squad who are hitting their stride as of late.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are to be tested on the road as they’ll face the Clippers.

Without further ado, SBOBET provides you our latest NBA 2019 updates.

San Antonio Spurs @ Washington Wizards

The Spurs are reeling from a six-game losing streak, and they would like to end their skid by completing a season series sweep against the Wizards on the road.

DeMar DeRozan was the hero in their win back on October when he hit that late shot to seal the victory and San Antonio are expected to continue to rely on him and LaMarcus Aldridge for their scoring.

The Wizards, who are currently ranked as the league’s top offense, will be headlined by Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura.

New York Knicks @ Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers will stake their pristine record at home as they’ll host the visiting Knicks after playing nine of their first 13 games on the road.

They will face a Knicks team who has been mired in controversy since rumors started swirling around about the tenure of head coach David Fizdale.

New York will be keen on brushing that one off as they try to build some momentum after winning against the Cavaliers recently.

Betting Tip: Sixers Asian Handicap -12.00 @ 1.86

Orlando Magic @ Toronto Raptors

Orlando will be keen on extending their three-game winning streak as they visit Toronto for the second time this season.

However, the NBA 2019 odds of doing so are looking bleak as the defending champions are 5-0 at home while the Magic are winless on the road.

The Magic will hope that Nikola Vucevic will continue his strong performance, especially after winning the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award last time. He will be supported by the resurgent Markelle Fultz.

Betting Tip: Raptors Asian Handicap -4.00 @ 1.93

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks are looking for some comfort at home after enduring a rough five-game road trip, which includes a 49-point beatdown against the Clippers.

Atlanta’s task won’t get easier upon their return at the State Farm Arena, as they will face the streaking Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks have won four straight games and eight of their last nine, plus they’ve won three of their four meetings against the Hawks last season.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Miami Heat

The Cavaliers are looking to arrest their four-game losing skid as they’ll visit the Heat tomorrow night.

They are coming off of a blowout loss against the lowly Knicks, with no thanks to injuries suffered by their frontcourt. Kevin Love was out due to back spasms while Larry Nance Jr. sprained his left thumb.

Miami are currently 5-0 at home this season, with Jimmy Butler leading them in scoring (18.4), assists (7.2), and steals (2.8) per game.

Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets will host the Charlotte Hornets without the services of their key cogs yet again.

Kyrie Irving is still sidelined due to a shoulder injury, while Caris Levert received surgery on his injured right thumb.

Meanwhile, Charlotte would look to make amends after their lacklustre showing against Toronto in their previous game. Before that, they won their previous two games thanks to clutch performances of Malik Monk and Devonte Graham.

The Hornets are 11-4 in their past 15 encounters with the Nets.

Betting Tip: Hornets Asian Handicap +4.50 @ 1.86

Golden State Warriors @ Dallas Mavericks

Golden State are aiming to build some momentum as they visit Dallas tomorrow.

The Warriors have snapped their seven-game losing skid after winning handily against the Memphis Grizzlies, 114-95.

The Mavericks are holding an 8-5 record in the Western Conference and much of their success can be owed to Luka Doncic.

Doncic is coming off of a triple-double performance where he pumped in 42 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds against the Spurs.

Detroit Pistons @ Chicago Bulls

This game should provide some emotion as Derrick Rose will make his second return to Chicago.

Detroit are looking for some kind of boost after losing four straight matches, and an inspired play by Rose might do the trick.

The former MVP is still looking for his bearings since returning from a problematic right hamstring last week. He recently recorded 16 points in their loss against Charlotte.

Other than Rose, the Dwane Casey-coached squad will bank on their superb duo in Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond against a thin Bulls frontcourt.

Betting Tip: Pistons Asian Handicap +2.00 @ 1.86

Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to assert their mastery against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.

The Timberwolves managed to score a 112-102 victory against Utah behind a fourth-quarter explosion where they tallied 36 points.

However, they might have to do it once more without the services of Andrew Wiggins. The Canadian guard has already missed a few games due to personal matters.

Houston Rockets @ Denver Nuggets

The Rockets will stake their winning streak as they’ll face the Nuggets in a battle of top-tier teams.

James Harden should continue his deadly scoring form, while Russell Westbrook is expected to provide ample support.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, will rely on Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray to carry the team’s offencive cudgels.

Betting Tip: Rockets Asian Handicap +2.00 @ 2.00

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Clippers

Can Paul George once again help the Clippers to a victory against the Boston Celtics?
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George reacts during their game against Atlanta Hawks

It remains to be seen on whether we will see Paul George play alongside Kawhi Leonard soon, especially when the latter missed games due to load management.

Nonetheless, they’ll face a stern test in the Boston Celtics tomorrow at the Staples Center.

The Celtics are planning on creating a new winning streak after seeing it snapped against the Kings last time.

Los Angeles are currently 8-1 at home, and they recently won against the Hawks and the Thunder.
