These Great Games Surprised Live Betting Fans

There were a lot of great NBA games on offer today, offering different stories and interesting betting odds.

While some games went as expected, a good number of these games defied betting tips. These results are what make the NBA a fun watch.

Phoenix Suns 107-131 Detroit Pistons

Detroit’s starting unit had an engine-like efficiency throughout their game against the Phoenix Suns. Reggie Jackson, Avery Bradley and Tobias Harris had strong outings for the home team. Meanwhile, Devin Booker failed to rally his team together as they continue to struggle through the season.

Oklahoma City Thunder 108-121 Orlando Magic

Billy Donovan’s neck is probably on the line after this loss.

Russell Westbrook and Paul George had amazing outings for the Thunder, but their brittle defence allowed Aaron Gordon to end the night with 40 points and 15 rebounds. It also doesn’t help that the OKC bench were not producing enough points to reduce the burden on their stars.

Washington Wizards 113-118 Philadelphia 76ers

The Wizards’ tendency to struggle in games continues to rear its ugly head as they fall to the Sixers. The Bradley Beal-led Wizards mounted a great comeback in the fourth quarter, but Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons did enough to prevent an upset from happening.

Miami Heat 86-115 New York Knicks

The Knicks overturned a three-game losing skid with a wonderful win against the Miami Heat. While they were without Kristaps Porzingis due to an early ankle injury, Enes Kanter led a spirited charge that helped them over Miami. Meanwhile, the Heat continue to struggle defensively without Hassan Whiteside.

Charlotte Hornets 113-126 Toronto Raptors

The Hornets continue to struggle against the best teams in the league, and this game is a testament to that. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 66 points, while Dwight Howard was the only guy producing in Kemba Walker’s absence.

Indiana Pacers 97-118 Houston Rockets

I personally think the Houston Rockets are the benchmark the Indiana Pacers should aim for. James Harden is someone Victor Oladipo should aspire to be, as the Beard outplayed his opponent in every aspect of the game. Myles Turner should also look at Clint Capela’s growth in recent years as an inspiration.

Minnesota Timberwolves 120-102 New Orleans Pelicans

The Timberwolves seem to have responded to Jimmy Butler’s calls after an emphatic win against the Pelicans. Taj Gibson and Karl-Anthony Towns deserve major props as they managed to stop DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis from creating too much trouble for them. Andrew Wiggins and Butler handled the scoring load KAT missed out on.

Brooklyn Nets 109-104 Dallas Mavericks

DeMarre Carroll continues to shine for the D’Angelo Russell-less Nets as they barely managed to overcome the Mavericks. Carroll’s 22 points did just enough to help the Nets secure the victory. Meanwhile, the Dallas bench leaves a lot to be desired as they failed to back up their struggling starting unit.

Memphis Grizzlies 95-104 San Antonio Spurs

The result wasn’t in any doubt from the moment the game started.

Tyreke Evans was the only bright spot on the Memphis roster as Marc Gasol struggled to find his shot against his older brother Pau. Meanwhile, LaMarcus Aldridge put up an unreal 41-point performance to seal the game for the Spurs.

Golden State Warriors 127-123 Los Angeles Lakers

Nobody expected the Lakers to play this well against the Warriors, but the overtime win was a surprising delight nevertheless. The Lakers bench overpowered their Golden State counterparts, nullifying the Warriors starters’ efforts. While Brandon Ingram put on an impressive scoring performance, the Dubs did just enough to escape with the W at the Staples Center.
