With James Harden still out, the Rockets need Chris Paul to do more heavy lifting than usual to bring them back to the win column. Fortunately, they’ll be facing a Bulls squad that fell back to earth after losing four of their last five outings. Go for Houston -5.50 @ 2.03.

Two top-10 offences meet in what should be an exciting affair at the Oracle Arena. Denver, however, are expected to give the Dubs a hard time, with the likes of Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant still uncertain to play due to injuries.
Atlanta Hawks @ LA Clippers (January 9, 11:30 GMT+8)
The Clips have already lost two in a row, but they now have a chance to end that skid against the league-worst Hawks who have won just three times on the road so far. Blake Griffin is out for LA, though DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams should be able to thrive against Atlanta’s defence that saw a big step backwards this season.
