Start the Weekend with Fun Handicap Betting

The NBA is the perfect sporting league for the online betting aficionado.

While there is an established hierarchy among teams, every now and again an upset occurs. The weakest team in the league can topple insane betting odds if one player catches fire. The overwhelming favourites can simply collapse at the drop of a hat.

These things are what makes the NBA a great league to follow and bet on. You just don’t know what will happen next! This weekend’s games promise more of the same basketball action!

Chicago Bulls @ Orlando Magic (March 31, 8:00 GMT +8)

The Bulls don’t have Zach LaVine ready to play, making their upcoming game against the Magic a rather tough one. While the Magic also have Terrence Ross and Evan Fournier out with an injury, they still have Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon ready to play. Betting on Orlando -7.00 @ 2.07 is a sure win.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Atlanta Hawks (March 31, 8:30 GMT +8)

Ben Simmons once told Karl-Anthony Towns on stream that the Atlanta Hawks are no big deal, and their upcoming tussle at the Philips Arena is the perfect opportunity for him to back his words. Atlanta don’t have a lot of players in full health, so the Sixers should easily win this one.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Cleveland Cavaliers (March 31, 9:00 GMT +8)

The Pelicans are doing quite well under Anthony Davis’ outrageous play, but LeBron James is always a tough cookie to deal with. I’m not sure that Davis has the same gravitas as Cleveland’s No 23, and the Cavs are hard to beat when they’re in the Land.

Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets (March 31, 9:00 GMT +8)

You don’t have to look at the stat sheets to even predict that the Rockets will overwhelm the Suns. Devin Booker and TJ Warren are the only bright spots on the team, but both of them are dubious to appear in this game. I don’t think the Suns (or any team) can handle the firepower of James Harden.

Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder (March 31, 9:00 GMT +8)

The Nuggets are somewhat thriving with their own brand of basketball, but they are still two games away from playoff qualification. Things don’t get any easier when they play Russell Westbrook at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. However, the Thunder have been prone to late collapses, and a close game is in order here.

I think the Thunder will win by four points, making Oklahoma City -3.50 @ 1.94 the best punt to make.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Dallas Mavericks (March 31, 9:30 GMT +8)

The Mavericks can’t win be it home or away, so this game should be a sure lock for the Timberwolves. Given how well the Wolves’ young stars have been playing as of late, it’s not bad to put your money in Minnesota -6.00 @ 2.03.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Utah Jazz (March 31, 10:00 GMT +8)

MarShon Brooks is the unexpected scoring presence the Grizzlies desperately needed, but their shoddy team play doesn’t encourage much optimism. The least they could hope for is for Donovan Mitchell to have an off night and continuously shoot brick after brick.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Los Angeles Lakers (March 31, 10:30 GMT +8)

The Bucks had a relatively easy time in dealing with a depleted Golden State Warriors team, so they should have plenty of energy left for the Lakers. Giannis Antetokounmpo should easily play around the young frontcourt of the Lakers and cruise through them for the W.

LA Clippers @ Portland Trail Blazers (March 31, 11:30 GMT +8)

Lou Williams and Tobias Harris have performed well for the Clippers, but the lack of a true superstar might be the Clippers’ undoing against the Blazers. Damian Lillard has been lighting up scoreboards left and right, and he should have no problem overwhelming this hodgepodge Clippers squad. Portland -6.50 @ 2.50 is a steal in my opinion.
