Today Was a Great Day for Sports Betting

You missed out on a lot of online betting victories if you didn’t make a bet online on today’s NBA games.

There were a plethora of surprising results as teams stepped up to the plate and fought the odds set against them. These fantastic results definitely had many fans up on their feet in celebration.

Dallas Mavericks 115-111 Charlotte Hornets

It’s a real pleasure to watch the Mavericks play this brand of basketball in the twilight of Dirk Nowitzki’s career. The Dunking Deutschman chipped in 19 points with a 50% shooting clip. The biggest contributors to the Mavs were the young guns that will lead the squad in the future. Dennis Smith Jr., Yogi Ferrell and Harrison Barnes all played big games for Dallas.

Miami Heat 1104-106 Indiana Pacers

Casual fans that don’t faithfully follow the league should make a mental note and not assume the Heat are anything like they were a year ago. After pulling off a narrow win in Toronto, Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside played like the big boys they are to overpower Indiana’s starting unit.

Utah Jazz 107-104 Washington Wizards

It’s too bad Ricky Rubio never developed a consistent shot because his recent explosion against the Washington Wizards showed just how effective he could have been in his career. While he wasn’t able to stop John Wall from scoring 35, his 21 points and floor generalship did enough damage to put the game to bed.

Detroit Pistons 114-80 Brooklyn Nets

There was never any question on how the game would end. Brooklyn only had Allan Crabbe as a reliable scoring option, while the Pistons had the luxury of having Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond as scoring options. Dwight Buycks also played well off the bench for the Motor City.

Chicago Bulls 122-119 New York Knicks

This game was easily the most thrilling watch among the 11 games on offer.

Both teams saw their European stars play big during the game. Lauri Markkanen and Kristaps Porzingis played especially well during the dying minutes of regulation and overtime. While both teams played fantastic ball, it was Chicago that came out on top in the end.

Portland Trail Blazers 112-121 Houston Rockets

Damian Lillard and Cl McCollum did everything they could to win against a squad that far outclasses them in terms of quality. However, Chris Paul’s fantastic game of 37 points and 11 assists proved to be too much for the visitors.

New Orleans Pelicans 102-105 Memphis Grizzlies

DeMarcus Cousins and the rest of the injury-free Pelicans did everything they could to overcome the Grizzlies in their own home court. They almost managed to steal one from home, but Tyreke Evans and Marc Gasol refused to be outgunned in their own house.

Orlando Magic 103-110 Milwaukee Bucks

The Magic continue stumbling as Milwaukee cruise to another easy victory at home. Giannis Antetokounmpo had plenty of help from the rest of the Bucks starters, allowing him to have plenty of rest for their next match. Meanwhile, Orlando can’t find a break on offence or defence.

Oklahoma City Thunder 88-104 Minnesota Timberwolves

The Thunder’s three-star experiment is obviously not working as planned as the Wolves had their way with a struggling OKC team. Paul George and Carmelo Anthony struggled to get going as Russell Westbrook had to do it all by himself again. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s three stars shared the scoring load and had good shooting percentages.

Atlanta Hawks 110-97 Denver Nuggets

This final score is another shock result for me. I said last time out that Dennis Schroder needed to play great ball to allow the Hawks a shot at a win, and that’s exactly what he did. He also got help from various places on the roster, allowing him to cruise past the Nuggets on their home turf.

Los Angeles Clippers 125-106 Golden State Warriors

The Warriors may have kept Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson on the bench, but their final score is simply inexcusable. Lou Williams may have played out of his skin and dumped 50 on the Dubs, but Draymond Green’s atrocious shooting and Nick Young’s blanks are inexcusable for this high-scoring outfit. Kevin Durant was the only bright spot among the Warriors this game.
