NBA All-Star Luka Doncic made his Lakers debut against the Jazz last Monday, and he will play them again in the second game tomorrow. However, the second game will be held at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
The Lakers are one of the most in-form teams in the league, even before the arrival of Doncic, as they’re on a six-game winning streak. The NBA 2025 odds have them securing another victory against the lowly Jazz.
Meanwhile, the Spurs, Hornets, Pacers, Sixers, Hawks, Cavaliers, Pistons, Bucks, Kings, Heat, Suns, Blazers, Warriors, and Grizzlies will visit the Celtics, Magic, Wizards, Nets, Knicks, Raptors, Bulls, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Thunder, Rockets, Nuggets, Mavericks, and Clippers, respectively.
As you can see, we have a jam-packed schedule since the NBA All-Star break is just around the corner. Without further ado, here is the SBOTOP preview of the top three games from tomorrow’s slate.
Miami Heat @ Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder boast the league’s best record at 43-9, making them the only team that has yet to reach double-digit losses, and they’re keen to keep it that way when they host the Heat.
Oklahoma City are on a six-game winning streak after coming off a wire-to-wire win over New Orleans last Monday. It was another balanced effort for the Thunder, as six players notched double-digit points. The team also set a new franchise record for three-pointers made in a single match (27).
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander further strengthened his case for this year’s MVP award by dropping 31 points, two assists, three steals, and four three-pointers on 10-for-20 shooting from the field and 7-for-8 shooting from the free throw line.

Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren made his awaited return from a long layoff, putting up 12 points, six rebounds, and five blocks in 25 minutes. However, he is ruled out for tomorrow because the Thunder plan to give him the night off.
The Heat are fresh from another blowout defeat against the Celtics last Monday. Bam Adebayo put up 22 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists on 6-for-17 shooting from the field and 9-for-10 shooting from the charity stripe in the losing effort.
First-time NBA All-Star Tyler Herro was ruled out against the defending champions since he is ill, but there’s a chance he’ll return against the Western Conference frontrunners.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets are also enjoying a positive run of NBA 2025 results, as Nikola Jokic continues to put up video game numbers. The Serbian international averages 30.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 11.3 assists, and 1.9 steals during their unbeaten run.
In their latest win over Portland, Jokic put up 40 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and three steals on 15-for-22 shooting from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. The Blazers and Nuggets have split their first two meetings this season.
The Blazers were led by Dalano Banton and Donovan Clingan, who had 43 points combined in the losing effort last Monday. The odds are stacked against them tomorrow, given their growing injury list, as Matisse Thybulle (ankle), Deandre Ayton (calf), and Scoot Henderson (ankle) are ruled out, and Kris Murray (quad), Robert Williams III (knee), and Jerami Grant (knee) are questionable.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz
Luka Doncic’s stint with the Lakers got off to a positive start, as the Lakers secured a 132-113 win over the Jazz in Los Angeles last Monday. The five-time NBA All-Star recorded 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists on 5-for-14 shooting from the field in 24 minutes.
Doncic looked rusty, but it didn’t matter for LA since his teammates came to play. LeBron James posted a game-high 24 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists on 10-for-17 shooting from the field. Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Jordan Goodwin, Jaxson Hayes, and Gabe Vincent added 22, 21, 17, 12, and 11 points.
After the failed Mark Williams trade with the Charlotte Hornets, the Lakers bolstered their frontcourt depth by cutting the injured Christian Wood and signing free agent Alex Len. The Ukrainian international might make his Lakers debut tomorrow.
John Collins and Lauri Markkanen had 17 points each in the defeat, and Jordan Clarkson, Johnny Juzang, Walker Kessler, Isaiah Collier, and Keyonte George added 16, 14, 13, 13, and 11 points. Utah still won’t have Collin Sexton due to an ankle injury. Utah have only won five games since the start of the new calendar year.
Betting tip – Los Angeles Lakers Asian Handicap -7.50 @ 1.80
